Using Item Sales Price Calculations

Sales Quotes

To use an existing Item Sales Price Calculation on a sales quote do the following:

1. On the sales quote add a line with the item for which the calculation has been created.

2. In the field Item Sales Price Calculation No. select the correct calculation.

3. On the dialog that comes up select Yes.

4. The line’s Unit Price is now updated with the price from the Item Sales Price Calculation.

Note

When you convert the sales quote to a sales order the price and the seleced calculation will be carried over to the newly created sales order.

Sales Orders

To use an existing Item Sales Price Calculation on a sales order do the following:

1. On the sales order add a line with the item for which the calculation has been created.

2. In the field Item Sales Price Calculation No. select the correct calculation.

3. On the dialog that comes up select Yes.

4. The sales line’s Unit Price is now updated with the price from the Item Sales Price Calculation.

Production Order

To use an existing Item Sales Price Calculation on a production order do the following:

1. Create or open a production order to produce an item for which you have created a Item Sales Price Calculation.

2. On the Production Order Line select the calculation in the field Item Sales Price Calculation.

3. The production order is now updated with the routing and components from the selected calculation.

Note

If you create a production order for a sales line with an Item Sales Price Calculation the calculation no. will be automatically carried over to the production order line and the line’s routing and components will be populated with the values from the Item Sales Price Calculation.
