Material Planner is a Business Central app by Dynapro AS. It gives planners a single view of item demand and stock availability, so they can create replenishment orders — purchase, production, transfer, and assembly — without leaving the page.

How the pieces fit together

1. An administrator configures the app once in Setup.
2. Planners open the Material Planner Overview to review availability across all order types.
3. When an item is short, planners create an order from Item Replenishment without leaving the page.
4. For manufactured items, Demand Forecast & BOM Entries turn a finished-item forecast into component demand automatically.
5. Planning Groups keep related production orders together for focused planning.
