Setup & Permissions¶
Overview¶
Configure Dynapro Item Sales Price Calculator before end users start creating calculations, and assign the right permission sets to the right people.
Item Sales Price Calculator Setup¶
Open Item Sales Price Calculator Setup (under Administration) to configure:

| Enable Item Sales Price Calc | Master on/off switch. Turning it on enables the corresponding Business Central application area, making the feature's fields and actions visible. |
| Item Calculation Nos. | Required. The No. Series used to assign calculation numbers. Only editable while the feature is enabled. |
The setup page also has a Delete Orphaned Calculation Lines action, a cleanup utility for calculation lines whose No. field is blank or orphaned.
Licensing¶
This app requires a Dynapro license. Use the Update License and Register Trial License actions on the setup page (SaaS only) to activate or renew your subscription. Nearly every calculation field, action, and the print report check for an active subscription — if it isn't active, these are hidden or blocked throughout Business Central.
Permission Sets¶

| DYP IC Read | Read-only access to calculations and setup; execute access to all pages, the report, and the app's codeunits. Base access most users need to view calculations. |
| DYP IC Edit | Includes Read, plus full insert/modify/delete rights on calculation headers and lines. Assign to users who create or edit calculations. |
| DYP IC Admin | Includes Edit, plus full rights on the Setup table and execute access to the Setup page. Assign to administrators who configure the No. Series, enable/disable the feature, and manage licensing. |
