Inventory History & Quality Control¶
Overview¶
Dynapro Trade adds a historical inventory view, a quarantine workflow for items and warehouse entries pending quality control, and a guided way to move stock between locations. Warehouse and quality-control staff use these.
Inventory History¶
Open Inventory History to see inventory over time. Set filters for Date, Item, Item Category, Location, and choose View by (day, week, month, and so on). The embedded matrix shows each item's inventory across the selected periods, with a drill-down to the underlying entries.
Quality Control (Quarantine)¶
When Use Quality Control is on in setup, two review lists become available:
- Items ledger entries in quality control — open item ledger entries awaiting quality control review: entry number, posting date, location, item, quantity, unit of measure, and lot number.
- Warehouse Entries in Quality Control — the equivalent view for warehouse entries, with a Lot No. Information Card action to drill into lot tracking.
Moving an Item Out of Quarantine¶
Use Move item to new location to move an item from quality control to its next location:
- Open the dialog for the item, showing its current Location Code, Bin Code, Lot No., and Quantity.
- Enter the New Location Code, New Bin Code, and New Lot No. (if applicable).
- Confirm. The app posts a transfer-type item journal line using the move journal template, batch, and document number configured in setup, and re-creates lot tracking for the moved quantity.
Physical Inventory¶
The Phys. Inventory Journal shows Shelf No. and Last Phys. Invt. Date, populated automatically from the item or stockkeeping unit (or the last physical inventory ledger entry for the location) when new journal lines are created, including from the standard Calculate Inventory report.
