Setup & Enabling¶

Overview¶

The Dynapro Trade Setup page is the central configuration for the module. Administrators enable the app, register or update the license, and configure sales, purchase, and inventory behaviour. Open it by searching for Dynapro Trade Setup in Business Central. The underlying fields live on the standard Sales & Receivables Setup, Purchases & Payables Setup, Inventory Setup, and Assembly Setup tables.

Prerequisites¶

The Dynapro Trade app and its dependencies (Dynapro Conversion Units, Dynapro File Management, Automatic Charge Assignment, Dynapro Licensing Client, Dynapro Support, Master Data Management) are installed.
An active subscription, or a trial (see below).
An administrator permission set for setup.

Enabling the Module¶

Open Dynapro Trade Setup.
Turn on Enable Dynapro Trade. This makes the app's fields and actions visible and registers or syncs a trial license if needed.

When the subscription is inactive, the added fields and actions are hidden or disabled regardless of this switch.

General Settings¶

Setting	Description
Enable Dynapro Trade	The master switch for the module.
Replace Email Recipients	Replaces email recipients with the values from alternate send-to addresses. See Customer & Vendor Data.
Detach Ship Dates on SO / Detach Ship Dates on TO	Stops shipping dates from being recalculated automatically on sales or transfer orders.
Use RSPO	Shows the RSPO field where relevant.
Email S.Shipm. to Cust.	Whether and when sales shipments are emailed to customers automatically. See Customer Notifications.
On-Screen S.Shipm. Email Dialog	Shows an email dialog on screen instead of sending silently.
Assign User to Document	Assigns the logged-in user to a sales order or transfer order they create.
Auto Update Order Conf. Sent Date	Stamps the order confirmation sent date automatically when the confirmation email is sent.
Enable Sanctions Check	Shows the sanctions check status field on the customer.
Ask to Use Work Date as Posting Date	Asks whether to use the work date as the posting date when posting sales or purchase documents.
Simplified Deferral	Enables the simplified deferral fields on lines. See Deferrals.

Sales Settings¶

Setting	Description
Calc. Sales Prices By	Whether sales prices calculate by the bill-to or sell-to customer.
Calculate Last Item Charge Amount / Item Charge No. Filter	Fills the item's last item charge amount from the last posted item charge matching the filter.
Copy Comments Cust. to Order / Copy Comments Loc. to T.O	Copies comments from the customer to a sales order, or from a location to a transfer order.
Sales Suppr. Ship. Date Conf.	Controls the confirmation dialog when the shipment date changes on a sales document.
Use Custom Delivery Dates	Enables custom delivery dates on sales orders. See Sales Order Enhancements.
Activate Proforma Email SO	Shows the proforma invoice email action on sales orders.
Enable Sales Order Type	Shows the order type field on sales documents.
Enable Picking By	Shows the picking-by field on sales orders.
Enable Packed By	Shows the Packed By field on sales orders, service orders, and their posted shipments. See Sales Order Enhancements.
Sales Order, Show Deliverability	Enables the delivery-readiness status and check on sales order lines.
Sales Line, Block Shipment Date Edit	Prevents editing the shipment date on sales order lines.
Enable Simplified Special Orders / Requisition Worksheet Template Name / Requisition Worksheet Name	Enables the simplified special-order process and its dedicated requisition worksheet.
Expand Assembly Components	Auto-expands assembly BOM components when adding a BOM item to a sales quote or order.
Block Duplicate External Document Nos. / Only Block BackGround Tasks / Blocking Applies-To	Controls blocking of duplicate external document numbers. See Validation & Document Blocking.
Archive Attachments on Sales Orders / Sales Quotes	Copies attachments to the archive when a sales order or quote is archived.

Purchase Settings¶

Setting	Description
Purch. Suppr. Post. Date Conf.	Controls the confirmation dialog when the posting date changes on a purchase document.
Purch. Order. Enable Posting Actions	Enables posting directly from a purchase order. See Purchase Order Enhancements.
Archive Attachments on Purchase Orders	Copies attachments to the archive when a purchase order is archived.
Ask to Use Work Date as Posting Date	Purchase-side equivalent of the general setting above.

Inventory Settings¶

Setting	Description
Show Upcoming Inventory Changes	Shows upcoming inventory changes on relevant pages.
Use Quality Control	Enables the quarantine review lists and item-move dialog. See Inventory History & Quality Control.
Move Doc. No.	The document number used when posting a quality-control move.
Location Filter QC / Main Location / Off Spec	Location filters used by the quality-control and main-location features.
Jnl. Tmpl. Name Move QC / Jnl. Batch Name Move QC	The journal template and batch used when posting a quality-control move.
Bin Filter QC / Bin Filter Approved Inv.	Bin filters used by quality control.
Enable Description 2	Shows the item's second description field.
Enable Field Checking	Enables the field/table validation feature. See Validation & Document Blocking.
Use Conversion Units	Enables conversion-unit quantities on item availability views.
Enable EU Ecolabel / Enable Manual CO2e	Shows the EU Ecolabel and manual CO2e fields on the item.

Intercompany Settings¶

Setting	Description
IC Copy Request Delivery Date	Copies the requested delivery date to the intercompany purchase order.
IC Copy Sales Order No.	Copies the sales order number onto the intercompany purchase order.

Licensing Actions¶

Action	Purpose
Update License	Updates the Dynapro Trade license from the Dynapro licensing server.
Register Trial License	Registers a trial license from the Dynapro licensing server.
