Forecast

When Forecast Entries are created Material Planner will add som extra information to the entires. It also goes through an Item's Production Bill of Materials (BOM) and create entries for every component in the BOM recursively if the setting is enabled.

Following is some information about the actions and fields on Demand Forecast Entries that are added by Material Planner:

Related Entries

When set to include an item's Production BOM in Forecast entries then Material Planner will label the entries that are created for the components with the Entry No. of the original Forecast Entry. This allows the user to easily find all related entries by using this action.

Fields

Prod. BOM Line Quantity per

Specifies the Quantity per on the Production BOM from which this Forecast Entry was created.

User ID

Specifies the User ID of the user that created the Forecast Entry.

Source Item No.

Specifies the Item from which the Forecast Entry is created.

Created From Entry No.

Specifies the Entry No. of the Forecast entry from which this Forecast Entry is created. This is only relevant if Material Planner is setup to add the Production BOM to Forecast.

BOM Level

Specifies how deep in recursions into Production BOM Material Planner had to go to create this entry.
