Purchasing & PO Warnings¶
Overview¶
Dynapro Service Management links purchase and requisition lines back to the service order they were ordered for, and warns when parts have not been received in time. From the item availability check you can push a shortage straight into a requisition worksheet or a new purchase order. Dispatchers and purchasers use this.
Ordering Parts from the Availability Check¶
On the Item Availability Check page, use the promoted actions:
| Action | Does |
|---|---|
| Add to Requisition Worksheet | Adds the item to the requisition worksheet, stamped with the service order number. |
| Create Purchase Order | Creates a new purchase order for the item, stamped with the service order number. |
The lines created carry the Service Order No. and Service Line No., so the purchase is traceable back to the order. The standard "Purchase Order" action on the page is hidden.
Purchase Status on the Service Order¶
The Details area of the service order shows read-only purchase status:
| Field | Description |
|---|---|
| Order Created | Indicates whether a purchase order has been created for the order. |
| Order Received | Indicates whether any purchase line has been received. |
Related counts (open purchase lines, received purchase lines, requisition lines) are available on the header.
Late-Delivery Warning¶
The app warns when parts for a service order have not arrived before the order's start date. The warning reads: "Purchase is not received %1 day(s) before the specified start date."
The lead time is set in setup with Non-Reception of Purchase: Advance Warning Days. The requisition worksheet used is set with Requisition Worksheet Template Name and Requisition Worksheet Name. See Setup & Permissions.
