Shipping Agents¶
Overview¶
Shipping Agents (referred to as "Transportør" in Norwegian) are extended with fields that drive transport pricing defaults and notification emails.
Fields added to Shipping Agents¶
| Field | Description |

| Vendor No. | Links the shipping agent to a vendor, so pricing can default the vendor's currency. |
| Email Address / Phone No. | Contact details used when sending notifications. |
| E-mail Shipments | Automatically emails the posted shipment as a PDF to the agent after posting. |
| Send Shipment Notification | Sends the Transport Notification document to the agent. |
| Add Picking List To Notification | Attaches the picking list PDF to the Transport Notification email. |
Setting up a shipping agent¶
- Open the shipping agent record.
- Link it to a Vendor No. so transport prices can default the vendor's currency.
- Enter an Email Address and Phone No.
- Enable E-mail Shipments, Send Shipment Notification, and/or Add Picking List To Notification as needed for this agent.
