Setup & Permissions¶
Overview¶
Configure Dynapro Transport Management before end users start planning transports, activate your license, and assign the right permission sets.
Transport Mgt Setup (base app)¶
The base app's setup holds:

| Transport Base UoM Code | The base unit of measure used consistently across all transport price calculations. |
| Location Code | Optionally scopes the Transport Planning worksheet to a specific location. |
| Shipment Date Filter | Optionally scopes the Transport Planning worksheet by shipment date. |
| Activate/Edit E-mail To Shipping Agent | Toggles for the shipping agent email notification behavior. |
Dynapro Transport Management Setup (planning layer)¶
Open Dynapro Transport Management Setup (Administration) to configure:
| Field | Description |

| Enable Transport Management | Master on/off switch. Turning it on registers/checks a trial license subscription and requires logging out and back in for the Transport Management UI to appear. |
| Location Code, Shipment Date Filter | Same fields as the base setup, editable from this page. |
| Activate/Edit E-mail To Shipping Agent | Same toggles as the base setup. |
The setup page also links to the Shipping Agents list for quick access.
Licensing¶
The planning layer (Transport Planning worksheet, factboxes, sales order additions, Transport Notification document) requires an active Dynapro license/subscription. License status is checked when the company opens and whenever the Transport Zones, Loading Zones, or Transport Planning pages are opened — if the subscription is missing or expired, you're blocked or warned.
Permission Sets¶

| DYP TM Transport Mgt (base app) | Full insert/modify/delete rights on Container Type Code, Loading Zone, Transport Mgt Setup, Transport Price, and Transport Zone, plus execute access to the base app's codeunits. |
| DYP TP Edit ("Dynapro Transport Mgt. Edit", planning app) | Includes DYP TM Transport Mgt, plus execute access to all planning-layer pages (factboxes, Loading/Transport Zones, Setup, Transport Planning), the Transport Notification report, and the planning app's codeunits. Assign this permission set to end users and admins who use the full product. |
