Transport Planning Worksheet

Overview

The Transport Planning page is the main day-to-day planning screen for reviewing and processing open sales orders in bulk.

What it shows

One row per open sales order, including: No., Status, Loading Zone, Shipment Date, Pickup Mail Sent, Pickup Time (value and text), Shipping Agent Code, Delivery Zone, ship-to details, Sell-to Customer, Total Net/Gross Delivery Weight, and a free-text Transport Comment.

When the page opens, it automatically fills in any missing Delivery Zone by looking up the ship-to post code, and checks your Dynapro license/subscription status — blocking or warning you if it has expired.

Releasing and reopening orders

Use Release and Reopen to move orders through the standard sales-order release workflow. Both actions can be applied in bulk to multiple selected rows.

Sending a transport notification

Select one or more orders that share the same shipping agent, then choose Send Transport Notification. The app generates the Transport Notification document as HTML for the email body — optionally attaching each order's picking list as a PDF — and opens it in the email editor addressed to the shipping agent.

All selected orders must share the same shipping agent

If the selected orders use different shipping agents, sending the notification is blocked until you narrow the selection.
