Transport Pricing on Sales Orders¶
Overview¶
Transport zone, price, and logistics fields appear directly on sales orders, most of them populated automatically.
Fields on the sales header¶

| Loading Zone | Where the goods will be picked up from. |
| Delivery Zone | Auto-populated from the ship-to post code — see Post Code Mapping — but can be overridden manually. |
| Pickup Time | When the shipment will be picked up, shown as both a value and formatted text. |
| Pickup Mail Sent | Indicates whether a pickup notification has already been sent. |
| Transport Comment | Free text for logistics notes. |
| Total Net/Gross Delivery Weight | Summed automatically from the order lines. |
Fields on sales lines¶
Each sales line shows Total Net Weight and Total Gross Weight, calculated as Qty. to Ship × Net/Gross Weight. These recalculate automatically whenever Quantity, Outstanding Quantity, Qty. to Ship, Net Weight, or Gross Weight changes, and the order subform shows read-only Total Net/Gross Weight columns.
Opening Transport Planning from a sales order¶
The Sales Order List has a Transport Planning action that opens the Transport Planning Worksheet, pre-filtered to open orders.
