Overview

Three factboxes on the Transport Planning Worksheet help you spot other orders that can be consolidated into the same shipment.

The factboxes

Factbox Shows orders sharing...
Loading Zone FactBox The same shipment date and loading zone as the current row.
Delivery Zone FactBox The same shipment date and delivery zone as the current row.
Shipping Agent FactBox The same shipment date and shipping agent as the current row.

Each factbox is also filtered to orders with a Pickup Time greater than zero, so only orders that are actually scheduled for pickup appear.

A suggested daily workflow

  1. Open the Transport Planning Worksheet for the day's shipments.
  2. Review the factboxes for each order to spot other orders sharing the same loading zone, delivery zone, or shipping agent — candidates for consolidating into one shipment or notification.
  3. Release orders that are ready to ship.
  4. Select orders sharing the same shipping agent and send a Transport Notification.
  5. Confirm Pickup Mail Sent is set once the notification has gone out.
