Batches¶
Overview¶
Batches provide a lightweight way to group output into a batch or lot. When an item is flagged Batch Mandatory, the operator must enter a batch number when posting output. The production office creates and maintains batches; operators select them during Output Registration.
Open a batch from the Batch Card, or the Batches list.
Creating a Batch¶
- Open the Batches list and choose New.
- Leave Batch No. blank to number the batch automatically, or type a number.
- Enter a Description and the Location.
- Add lines for the items in the batch.
An empty Batch No. is filled from the Std. Batch Nos. number series set in Inventory Setup.
